Our Teachers

Co-owners, teachers and mothers, Misti Papuga and Anjela Freeman, are lifelong friends who have seamlessly combined their individual expertise into creating the fresh, innovative WonderFun Storytime program for parents and children.

Misti (Engelsman) Papuga
Misti has over 17 years of early childhood education experience. She went to school for Elementary Education and is currently the Director of Grace Christian Learning Center in Troy. Misti enjoys singing and also plays the flute and saxophone. Misti was born and raised in Royal Oak and is now a resident of Warren. She and her husband, Alan, are proud parents of an adorable 3-year-old named Megan.

Anjela (Antonazzo) Freeman
A Royal Oak native, Anjela holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Miami (FL) where she played French Horn and recorded with the University of Miami Symphony Orchestra. From a young age, she played a number of instruments, including acoustic guitar, and participated in school and community orchestras, bands, and choirs. Anjela is now a resident of Madison Heights along with her husband, Keith, and their 2-year-old daughter, Nina.
